Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using CRED AI Agent for Slack ("the App", "we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the App.

2. Description of Service

CRED AI Agent for Slack is an artificial intelligence-powered chatbot that integrates with Slack to provide access to CRED's predictive intelligence platform. The App enables users to query CRED's database, create and manage data, process files, and receive AI-powered insights through natural language conversations in Slack.

3. Account Requirements

To use the App, you must have an active CRED account. The App connects to your CRED account via OAuth authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your CRED account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

If you install the App without a CRED account, the bot will provide a registration link when you first attempt to use it. You must create a CRED account to use the App's features.

4. Use of the Service

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use the App to:

• Query CRED's database for business intelligence and market insights
• Create and manage lists, opportunities, and other data structures in CRED
• Process and analyze files (PDFs, CSVs, Excel files, images)
• Receive AI-powered recommendations and insights

4.2 Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to CRED's systems or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or servers
• Use the App to transmit any viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Share your CRED account credentials with unauthorized users

5. AI-Generated Content

CRED is not responsible for decisions made solely based on AI-generated content. You acknowledge that the App's AI responses are provided "as is" and may not always be accurate or complete.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

The App accesses data from your Slack workspace and your CRED account. We use OAuth authentication and do not store your credentials. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and we comply with SOC 2 and GDPR requirements.

7. Intellectual Property

The App and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by CRED and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our express written permission.

8. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with Slack and CRED's platform. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies:

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CRED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

CRED's total liability for any claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for CRED services (including token consumption) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CRED and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

You may uninstall the App from your Slack workspace at any time. When you uninstall the App, we will delete your stored data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which CRED operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
